A collaboration between TRU and Sahali Secondary School supported by a Mind the Gap grant was recently highlighted by Kamloops’ CFJC News.

The project is called “Raising Cultural Awareness through Food Preparation”. It was a collaboration between Holly Adkin’s foods class from Sahali Secondary School and Kim Johnstone from TRU’s Culinary Arts department. The aim of the project was to bring together school district students with TRU students to provide exposure to international cuisine and culinary techniques, demonstrated by experts.
